What is the Worst Show on TV

I hate it all. I have a 50 inch plasma in my living room and a 26 inch tv in my computer room that never get cut on. I signed up for Directv that I have another year left on my contract and what a waste of money! Its not that Directv is bad but I just don't watch tv..I sit in front of my Mac and watch everything I want to!

I just noticed this topic title.. I have a long list.

But one I've tried to watch twice now just makes me want to purchase a truck load of pies, find the studios where the show is taped, and aim for as many faces as I can hit, "Minute to Win it."

I dont think I have ever enjoyed a reality show. They are scripted also, its almost like half improv and they are bad actors so it makes it even worst. lol

I have to say... I know that reality TV is the worst of 100% of all 'shows' that are on now... but the worst one of those has to be that stupid ass 'big brother' one. I walked into the living room like... 2 weeks ago or something... my parents were watching it... they had people running around in mud picking up CD's and listening to a... hydraulic operated over-sized prop frog thing... don't know what the hell it was, but I felt my IQ dropping at 15 points a second while I was within 5ft of the entire front of the house.

I had to go study some math books in my room afterward to make sure my brain was still funtioning....

British TV is Lame

1. Coronation Street
2. Big Brother ( Finally Finished )
3. EastEnders
4. Emmerdale
5. The Bill ( Finally Finished )

* The biggest problem is adverts a show will start at 9pm and by 9:12 adverts will be on for 3-4 minutes and again at 9:26 , in a hour you will be watching easy 15-20 minutes adverts which are usually the same.

* Don't have much of a problem now as I have a SKY HD Recording box so its easy to fast forward through all the crap.

Have to agree with all of you on the reality shows. The worst? "16 and Pregnant". "Teen Moms"....talk about glamorizing this stuff! I want to walk over to the tv and smack each one of these girls in the head!

For non-reality? The worst??? "The Secret Life of The American Teenager"...

I have 3 teenagers. I WAS a teenager. I TAUGHT teenagers....Nothing like this crap around!

Other than that, I'm with everyone else on "reality" shows. The only other "reality" show I like is Biggest Loser...but a lot of the time I have a feeling that some of the interaction among the contestants is scripted. I wish they'd just stick w/ showing the workouts, eating tips, weigh ins, etc.

I also despise bachelor/bachelorette shows. I just KNOW the people that are into these shows are the same ones clamoring that gays make a mockery of marriage & relationships. Pot/kettle, anyone?

I hate anything like X Factor (lets manufacture pop, make a quick buck and then dump the people when the publics attention wanders after about 10 minutes) or celebrity real life shows (especially Katie and Peter).

My wife is heavily into the Next Top Model shows, and I find them appalling. It just reniforces stereotypes on teenagers who think that unless they're slim and beautiful the world is going to end. And the attitude in them... don't get me started on that.

Top Gear America has a big place on this list. How could they take an amazing premise and RUIN it with the most useless hosts they could find. Tanner Foust is the only thing keeping that show on TV, and only because he can drive, not for his great television presence.
