I know I can voice dial, and voice text etc... but I'm wondering if there is a complete list of all the voice commands and how to use them?

so far I have only done voice dial and voice navigation. Can you start a text by voice? I tried "send a text to "person's name" but that didnt work, thanks

Thanks for the response! However when I go to my apps and then touch the icon for voice search, it starts performing the voice search, where do I have to go to see the settings or a video? Thansk again!

when i hold the search or open the voice search app and the screen comes up you talk to, there is also something that says "help". all the commands are listed there

Pretty cool video, however after watching I realized my Google didn't look the same as his and doesn't have the help button when launched, only the "cancel" button. Wonder what gives? I can search Google and Navigate works, but none of the other functions seem to work. I even went to the market to look for Voice Search figuring I'd dl to make sure I had the most recent version and it doesn't even find a match there.

Any suggestions?

Wait, does this only work on 2.2? I'm still at 2.1. :-(

TIA

I've been searching and it sounds like a possible fix may be to sync all yor contacts with your gmail account, and then delete all your contacts from your phone, and then sync again to bring them back. From what I've gathered the voice search pulls contacts from the google server, not from your phone.
Im not sure how to delete all my contacts tough, I'll try to figure it out

Make sure you have the latest updated voice search. I updated mine and it does so much more now and has the video to watch. I found it in the marketplace and it didn't even tell me I had an update but it went right over the top of my old one. It's awesome now it does so much more. I think maybe you do need 2.2 to have it though. It's in the marketplace under voice search. I say send text to and it brings up text with persons name. Sometimes I get server error and can't keep talking have to say a little at a time. But it works pretty good! I also have the Edwin app which is cool.

All commands work on my phone but they do not work on my parents phone. They have fairly new Evo's but we are all on the same version and updated Voice apps. Call and Send Text are not working.

luigic81, I already tried the sync fix that I found on another Droid site and it didn't make a difference. Also it turns out that navigate really doesn't work for me either, if I say "navigate home" it brings up a listing of businesses in my current area that have "home" in them. That's even after I put my address info in my own contact card and imported/exported contacts.

I still don't find voice search in the market so I can't try that option either, well let me correct that, the only Voice Search it finds isn't Google's it's Kook-Joo Lim's.

I did find this site that tells you to add the app via Astro File manager after getting it from a URL. I may try that and see what happens. Is everyone else finding it in the Market?

UPDATE: I found my answer after setting up AppBrain, should have done it a long time ago. It gives me this message "Your device has Android 2.1. However this app is for Android version 2.2 and higher"

Thanks

I am using the voice commands for the first time. The command send text to XXX works to create the message but what command do I use to actually send the message? When calling someone I can say dial XXX and it dials but what command do I use to cancel if the phone dials the incorrect person? Is there a complete list of commands available online?
