I have a Moto Droid 2 running 2.2 and rooted of course. I decided to do a factory reset from within Settings-Privacy, but before I did a COMPLETE Titanium Backup of all programs with Data.
After the Factory Reset, the phone stayed rooted and started downloading all the apps I had installed all by itself. I used the Titanium Backup to restore all apps/data from the previous backup, but have a problem now. ????
Up near the 3G symbol, there is the "sync" symbol ALLLLL the time, never goes away, but very little data is being used.
What I found is that within Settings-Applications-Manage Applications-Running, there is a service running called "Accounts Storage" that is a red box with the little Motorola M in it. I can clear the cache and it resets, but when I do a Force Stop, that is the ONLY time the sync'ing icon next to the 3G goes away.
I still get my e-mail, calendar, texts, GV, phone calls etc, but that icon is there all the time. If I Force Stop it, it starts up in 1 minute exactly.
Does anyone know what this is, how to fix it or what to do? It doesn't appear to be doing anything, but I'm kinda stumped as to what was broken when doing the backup/restore.
Thanks!
