Nice Murcie, stealth. And you dont want a GTR, trust me..

Yep. Its a Versace edition. 1 of 20. As for the GT-R, why not? I have driven the car before, and I fell in love with it! I know the maintence is expensive, but its not Ferrari bad. Lol. I know the launch control feature is sketchy too, but I wont be using that, if I ever somehow get a GT-R. lol

Oh, and sweet Gran Turismo Convertible and Rolls Royce Drop Head pics as well!

I received a new point-and-shoot yesterday (Canon Powershot SD4500IS) and will be taking it out on a spin with the Droid X. I'll do some comparison shots with them at my university to just see how they compare side by side. I'm really mostly curious with how the colors will turn out.

Update: Focus is faulty. Must replace.

Very nice! I have a Canon Powershow as well. Like the SD790S or something like that. its 10 MP. I'll do a compairson test with the X as well. But from what I can tell, Its a very close call between the 2 in the pic quality department.

I can definitely tell that my Canon takes better pics because it's able to pick up more light but still keep the natural colors and not overexposure. It's just depends on when it wants to focus. lol I'm going to return it anyways because I didn't know that the wide angle was 36mm. That's way too narrow for me.

I quit messing around with point-n-shoots a long time ago :). This was taken today with my Nikon D3100:

BTW that's reduced by 50%.

That's a great pic! I don't bother with dSLRs and manual compact cameras because I'm looking to just snap a pic and go. I need something small, quick, and painless. When I'm in Europe in the spring, I just want a really good point-and-shoot that I can take with friends, I can take with one hand, and is very easily portable.

Wow, that is a nice shot. How do you determine when to use which camera? Or do you just switch back and forth?

Thanks. My plan was to shoot with the Nikon exclusively today but the most embarrassing thing happened to me, I ran out of battery power and took a few shots with the X, lol. Not bad, but as you can see, not in the same league.

This Nikon is new to me and I'm still learning its power habits. I shot about 6 hours of stills last weekend and it hadn't even dropped one bar on the battery indicator. So I didn't bother to charge it thinking it'd last at least another 3-4 hours but it dropped like a rock in about 2, lesson learned. Still good performance but I need to invest in a second battery. My D40 lasted longer but it was also less of a camera (in terms of features) so it's expected.

BTW, that pic you posted above is impressive! Except for possible resizing, was it edited in any way?

It was very slightly edited. I used the unsharp mask at a very low setting to give it a slightly more crisp look, and that's it. But without clicking back and forth with the original you can't really tell the difference. It just happened to be one of my better shots -- I took hundreds, so I have quite a few to choose from.

Get tired of it quick. Sure its fast, but when you think of what you can buy for $90k+... I dont know have any ownership experience but know a couple that do. One sold it after he realized he spent what he did on a Nissan, despite its speed lol.
