For some reason it won't install. I get an "Application not installed" message. I do have the "Unknown Sources" box checked.

This is a great Tom, but if I could suggest NOT bundling in one of the third party launchers.
I haven't had good luck with either, random fc and redraws often. Plus I didn't really need all the extras...but that's just me.

Quick question before trying this ROM... I see ads are turned off for the browser but I need them on or at least have a choice of showing them, can that be done?

Yes, if you download a program called AdFree Android and hit the Revert button it will show ads again.

Love it love it LOVE it! Got 2 problems though. Display brightness and volume menus force close... Am I the only one?

I have only tried a couple different 2.2 ROMs before this so not a hardcore ROM tester/swapper, etc. but this one just *seems* better on orig Droid. I had just installed SS 4.7 but this one beats it.... snappier, cleaner, etc. Music control in front is super cool... like that it controls pandora or music app... bonus.
I only noticed one quirk if it helps you ... I have to enable a password key to fully unlock my phone (requirement to use work exchange). Sometimes after slide unlocking... the screen will go black again, instantly. If i hit power button, then slide unlock... then I get the password/pin prompt so doesn't really change my life that much, just noticed. Not sure if your music controls impacted that or not.

oh and the time on the front display above the slide unlock got out of sync with the time on the top menu bar.... behind, I think stuck from the last time I hit the power button (to look at the time)

I've been having issues with launcherpro not letting me change the function of the buttons in the dock. I don't know if this is an issue with launcherpro or a result of running it with this ROM. Any help would be appreciated. Rather then that I love the rom! I love the choice in kernal you use, I use the exact same one for all my other ROMs. Maps 4.6 is now out and pandora 1.5.1, do you plan on making an update anytime soon to incorperate that?
