Help Milestone 2

Anybody heard of the milestone 2 yet for Telus? Hope worst case scenario is like a spring 2011 release...

I really think we will see the Milestone 2 in December for sure, maybe even November. The way the HTC Desire is selling, I really think Telus will start stepping up big time with new Android devices. I know as soon as the Milestone 2 is released on Telus, I am leaving my BlackBerry.

Telus does not Plan on any Droid 2 for the moment.

It WILL come to Telus, December at its earliest but unlikely. What bothers me is that it's shipping with the disgusting Cliq style Motoblur and some of you know how supportive Motorola is with Motoblur devices.

That's what I don't like about it. Once it can be removed I may take a interest to that phone.

I'm sure motoblur can be removed. Its not like there isn't already O.S mods out there like Cronos or the Froyo mod.

That's how the phones should come actually. You load what YOU want... not what they want to force on you lol

Problem is getting past the locked boot, the T-Mobile G2 is proving this (and probably the Desire Z).

Tmobile g2 have a different lock then what motorola does. Motorola encrypts there bootloader. HTC looks the nand. This has been done on alot of htc devices before. And has been overcome by using a goldcard. Its only a madder of time before that is cracked no doubts

So... still no news from Telus about that Milestone 2...

This is stupid, especially when you hear of it everywhere else around the world!

Europe are having it right now while it has been announced for Australia for early december...

Are we really that low on the "Countries where the Milestone 2 is to be released list"??? :mad:

It would appear so.

Not like i'm hard pressed for a hardware upgrade right now. I just hate the slide out keyboard on the M1 the M2's looks much better spaced out thanks to the deletion of that stupid directional pad. The only time i've ever used it is when i'm in open recovery. lol
