(Note, this is all new behavior.) When I connect my phone to to my Windows XP laptop via USB, I no longer get asked what type of connection (i.e. "Charge only," "Disk drive," etc.), even though "Ask me" is checked under the phone's Connect to PC settings. The USB icon doesn't show up on the notification bar either (though the battery icon shows it's charging).

On the laptop side, the 2 drives (SD, phone storage) do show up in Windows Explorer (as previously), but when I choose either, I get "Please insert a disk into drive F:." (or G:).

I've tried setting the phone's default connection type to "Charge only" and to "Disk Drive" but the behavior is the same either way.

This might have started with the Froyo update, but I think I've had it working since then.

Any help would be much appreciated.
