Accessories Incredible not charging with car charger after FROYO

If your using GPS Google Maps it will actually lose battery life while using the car charger. I experienced this yesterday, used GPS for 1 hr in my car with Verizons car charger, I had 4 green bars starting out before I pluged in the car charger, after I arrived at my destination (1 hr later) I checked my battery and I had 1 yellow bar left. So I actually lose battery life.

Before Froyo update that would never happen, it would charge somewhat or at least hold the charge I started with but it would NEVER lose battery life while charging.

So yes there is a problem that needs to be fixed soon.

WOW>... same problem.

I went to lancaster today, w/ a 90% charge on my phone.

(says Battery Left)

I ran GPS to get there, and bluetooth, just in case someone called.

I had it plugged into a Verizon Car Charger the entire time.

I got to Lancaster, and it seemed like it was done charging. It said 100% (i think).

HOWEVER, when i unplugged it, it DROPPED down to 65%.

On the way back, I did everything the same, EXCEPT w/ no bluetooth.

I started off w/ like, 90ish%, said it was full when I arrived home, and when I unplugged, it said like, 92%.
That's okay by me. If I'm running gps and plugged into the car, i'd at LEAST like to even out my charge, ideally, I would gain battery power, even if it's slowly. I am using the phone a lot.

But losing charge? Even when plugged in? I don't think that's good.

Is it all froyo?
Could this be the problem here? limitation in DC power? Limitation in USB charging? limitations in the charger?
Would I experience the same thing if i plugged in my Wall charger, the AC charger, into a DC to AC converter and put that into the car?

something about the charging process once the green light is on the phone it turns off charger and uses the battery only. The fastest way to charge this phone is turn it off. it can blast charge it self from 14 percent to full in under two hours with a seidio battery not sure about others. I had a Motorola 870 on nextel that did this the navigating and blue tooth would use as much juice as the charger produced not leaving anything left over for the battery.
