For anyone who has a Jawbone ICON, if you plug it into the computer to upgrade to the new programming it can now stream music from your DroidX.
It was perfect timing for me because I was looking at buying bluetooth headphones and now I dont have to. Currently listening to Pandora through the ICON. I've also tested it on Scaner Radio. Works perfectly.

Can you listen to other media audio (music, audio books, etc.) trhough your Jawbone Icon? I am looking for a single-ear blluetooth that I can use for both phone and media.

All Media can play through the Icon, as far as default ringing, I have mine to say # in ear and hear ringtones and notifications through phone. Movies and games and such are automatically played through Icon.

By the way the ICON proved to be very water resistant/proof. Dropped mine in a sink full of water, dried it out and seems like it never happened....

Check me if I'm wrong, Sandy, but aren't we talking about music out of only one ear? It can't sound any good at all, can it?

Actually the sound quality was pretty impressive. but thats just my .02
I would take listening to stuff through my icon over listening to it through a wired headset any day of the week. again, just my .02

Well yes it does work and as far as I know I get all notifications and alerts throught BT. Been that way since I updated it last month.

I don't like the sound through it, not because it doesn't sound decent.

But because its one ear only, distracting, and kills the battery. I mean its only good for about 4 hours depending on how hard you are using it. I don't need to keep it in my ear that long at a time anyway. but that is just me.

What I really want is the battery notification app they have for iphone and BB.

idk why your battery is dying so fast, but when I stream through the icon im getting over 6 hours of listening time. I know calls kill the battery faster though. also, I emailed them asking about a battery meter for android phones and was told that they are waiting to see how the blackberry app goes first, if it works well they will be doing one for android phones.
