Play Question..

Just rang up, their now telling me its the first of November....:(

The item page's status has been changed to "Due for release on 25 October 2010", and my account's status has switched back to "pre-ordered".

I know most others are having problems with getting their hands on the SIM-free version... anyone think we can wangle some freebies/discount if we kick up a fuss about them "lying" and changing the release date all the time. :p

If we all put our moaning hats on....why not :p im trying to find the number for my local carphone warehouse, but can only find the 0870 number when I need my area code, 118cant find it...but it obviously exists.

I found my local branch's number yesterday (local line :)), but they didn't want to sell the phone to me SIM free. Let us know how it goes. :)

Also firing a whiny e-mail off to Play about their ever-changing release dates. Don't expect anything decent back, but worth a go :p

Rang Play.com this afternoon and asked about the status of my order. They just gave me the "the item is out of stock and we don't know when exactly it'll be in again, but sometime in the next 3-5 weeks." So I'm guessing those of us who weren't included in the initial batch of orders are gonna be out of luck for a while.

I previously ordered with Handtec and then cancelled when I thought my Play.com order would be okay... now I've re-ordered with them, ha. I hope they can deliver a bit quicker. Has anyone ordered from Handtec in the last day or two? Did they say anything about when it would be delivered?
