i didnt worry about it till today. but i was useing my phone while it was charging. but it got pretty hot today. enough for me to go download a app to see the temp of the battery. it said like 108? and right before i took at battery 118? idk if its right but it was pretty hot. and i am sure its not good if its getting that hot. i was listening music through blue-tooth, on the internet with wifi and thats it really. i put it in the fridge for 5 mins hope that wont hurt it but i need help and what should i do to stop this? please let me know. im using the charger that came with it. it was got warm when i charge before but i dont think this much. :(

Can any one give me info on this and its a big problem. And what's the bes free battery app to view battery info

118f is pretty hot, highest ive seen mine 106, if its happening everytime u use the phone then I would just get it replaced. When my phone is underload it normally gets as high as 100f which is normal from what I can tell.

my battery is still getting hot. what should i do about this?

First, I DID NOT WRITE THIS, I found it, in quotes.

"When electrical current flows from the battery to the phone it creates heat due to resistance in the wiring and circuitry. The amount of heat generated when the phone is not in use is negligable, however, when you are using the phone you are consuming more power and, thus creating more heat. Nothing to worry about unless you notice the battery bulging."

Another person I asked says that If the phone overheats to the point where it's repeatedly powering itself off, that may be a sign of a hardware issue with your battery.
