Hey guys and girls!
I haven't been active on here in awhile because I got bombarded with school work. Anyway, I have an Incredible running rooted 2.1 but all stock other than that. I searched most of this stuff out before, but I could never find a clear and solid answer. Here goes:
1. I have a custom boot animation that I love. How do I change this on 2.2 to be the same one that I am running now?
2. How do I downgrade the version of Google Maps on the phone if I don't like it. I haven't heard many good things about it, and I rely heavily on my phone as navigation. I'm still on an older version of Google Maps because it works perfectly.
3. I understand that Verizon put some extra crap on 2.2 that is annoying. Do I have to be rooted to get rid of it? I don't really want to root 2.2, but I will if I have to.
4. I have the paid version of Titanium Backup. I am assuming that I will be unable to run Titanium Backup when I go to 2.2 to reload all my apps and settings. Is this a correct assumption?
Thanks in advance for any help. Those are the four main reasons I haven't downgraded to stock 2.1 and then updated to 2.2.
I just realized I may have posted this in the wrong section of the forum. Doh!
