Accessories Difference in chargers?

My wife has a cdma hero and I was looking on ebay for a desktop charger and noticed that some stated gsm only.. I know they have a different housing but is there any difference in charging ports or any reason one wouldn't work with the other?

AFAIK the two use the same standard mini USB connection.

But most desktop chargers consist of a holder for the phone so that it can slide down onto the connector and be supported so that it sits nearly upright. If that is what you are after then I doubt that it will work because the shape of the bottom of the two phones are entirely different - it is not just the chin on the GSM, the cdma version is also much more rounded than the GSM unit They would therefore need different support structures.

I have a GSM hero and I have 2 docking stations, they have power and connectivity to the computers. work great and fairly cheap off ebay. I noticed that they charge slower than the factory HTC unit however, but thats probably a good thing..
