For those that have tried a full screen (i.e. Droid, X, etc.) and a more square screen like this one, do applications scale properly and remain usable?

I have a first generation droid and everything seems to fit perfectly. Just curious if it would be frustrating finding good apps with this phone.

I definitely LOVE the form...

This uses a 480x320 res panel, which is the original screen res from the G1/Dream and is considered the standard 'Medium' sized screen as far as Android goes.

Most manufacturers use 800 x480 for their high res panels, and this is the standard 'Large' sized screen.

Motorola use a slightly stretched 854 x 480 for some reason. Anyway, the upshot is that apps are more likely to be scaled correctly on the Droid Pro.

Considering returning my Incredible for a Droid Pro and was wondering the same thing. The 320p landscape view seems a bit low too. Doesn't it? And do you think the keyboard would be annoying in landscape?

Yes, it would be tight. But I don't think this is a phone to be used in landscape for anything other than videos. Keep it portrait, use the h/w keyboard.
