OK I have 2 x10i's on T-mobile UK, one for me and one for my other half same contract two lines.

OK I had my x10 replaced due to the common charging problem and all's now fine but since then 2.1 hit so I used the Nordic FW method on both phones only her phone now has that stupid charging problem and I need to get it repair only problem is the phone is "Hacked" so to speak its not got the dranded T-mobile FW and its 2.1 not 1.6.

Now before you say just re-brand it I can't as its the USB connection in the phone that's fu*ked so I can do jack to it :(

Is there anyway of getting it repair in its current state or should I just bite the bullet and send it off hoping they wont say anything?

The only other thing I can think of and really don't want to do it is conveniently lose the phone and claim for it.

Open to ideas?!?!?!

P.s my mate suggested dropping it down the loo and claim on my accident cover again not something I want to do!!

Just a small, my 2 cents worth, of advice. I would suggest that you Do NOT make those kind of statements on "ANY" forum. You are out right saying you are about to do something unethical, if not also illegal. If that is your intent, it would be best served if you kept that little gem of info "confidential".. It could get you in a lot of trouble. Again, just my 2 cents........

Point taken :) I did mention that I do NOT want to do that and after read over my post it didn't seem to come accross the jokey way it was intended sorry :)
It was what had been suggested to me.
I have since been told theres a phone repair center in the next town so goin to give them a ring and see if they can fix it at all failing that I'll prob just ebay a new one :)
Like I said it was a sugestion and one I really don't want to do.
