Root New Leak from TBH Android 2.2.1 Build # 2.3.320!

I just go straight to the bootloader screen. There is shows an error sequence A5,70,00,00,2F

I have the same problem. Stuck in a bootloop and can't get into stock recovery. Apparently the only way this could have happened is if our recovery files were screwed up prior to flashing the update, as there were no recovery updates included in 2.3.320. I have a new phone coming tomorrow, but I would still like to see a full sbf released!

Careful, Bricked my device. I followed the install instructions EXACTLY. Was running Rubix 1.8.6 before applying the update.

I got stuck in a boot loop, then proceeded to apply the system only sbf that was provided, still no luck. Bootloader did update to 30.04, so i'm screwed until a full sbf is released.

This will definitely be my last Moto device, ever.

They mentioned if you are boot looping you just have incompatible data - but the upgrade worked.

You now need to wipe data. Good luck!

PS. As for me - I'll just wait for ApeX 2.0, based on this release :-D

Still gonna have to flash it. You will have to flash this update to get the kernel needed to run the next generation of 2.3.320 based roms.

yep. jacked my phone too. bootloops, won't enter recovery, sbf just runs, and nothing changes.

awesome.

we need to wipe data, and cant. as a warning to everyone here, thinking of doing this, WIPE DATA FIRST!!

the most frustrating part is reading all 36 pages of the thread, seeing everyone explaining WHY they cant wipe data in recovery, and only seeing the response, "you arent bricked, you just need to wipe data, you're dumb, i'm smart, blah, blah, blah..."

im confused with all the build and version numbers, can some help me out lol.

1. My DX says version 2.3.15. Does that pretty much mean my DX is on BLUR v2.3.15 and Froyo 2.2? So that means 2.3.320 which is the latest out means I'm on 2.2.1? Is 2.3.15 and 2.3.320 just updates of MotoBlur? I don't understand what these version numbers mean.

2. Say when I root my phone, flash a theme, whatever, but I screw something up... To get my DX back to stock I would just have to flash the 2.3.15 SBF file w/ RSDLite and I'm back to an unrooted stock DX, correct? But with version 2.3.320, there is no SBF file so once you flash the 2.3.320 update.zip your stuck with 2.2.1, no going back? So if you don't follow the 2.2.1 steps properly and screw up your DX is useless?

1.) 2.3.15 is the official OTA 2.2. 2.3.320 is the newest leak version of 2.2.1, prepared by team black hat. Moto has yet to release a final version of 2.2.1. both 2.3.15 and 2.3.320 are both motorola builds, so yes, they're blur.

2.) you are correct for the most part. where you are now, you can flash the sbf and be good. once you update to 2.3.320, it updates your bootloader, so you can no longer go back to 2.3.15.
there is a system only sbf floating around for 2.3.320, but it's not gonna be so easy to get. if you're not comfortable flashing roms, i would wait a bit. if you do flash it, just follow instructions, and WIPE DATA FIRST. the only people that i've seen get stuck with no way out (i am one of them) are people who didnt wipe data first.
