Help Getting error when I try to install the included software

I just picked up the Incredible today and am enjoying the phone so far. Unfortunatly, when I tried to install the included software I got the following error message:
"Error 2738. Could not access VBScrpit run time for custom action"

I tried to use the support feature on the Verizon Wireless site but the only thing that came up for that error message was a link to an article for Blackberrys.
http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB03490

I followed the directions on that link for the command prompt. When that did not work, I downloaded the software from the Verizon Wireless website again. Unfortunatly I got the same error message again. So either all of their software is corrupted, or something is amiss on my end. I am running Vista 32bit on this machine. I have a Windows 7 laptop I could try, but that is not my primary machine and does not have any of my music on it, so I'd rather get this one fixed. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

The software that came on your incredible is already installed. To open an app you need to go to bottom left softkey (next to the Phone icon) which will bring up a list of the installed apps. To open an app just give it a tap. When you decide which apps you would like easy/fast access to you can place them on one of your seven screens.... either widget, app, or shortcut. Your instructions booklet will give you tips on how to accomplish this. Don't be afraid to play with the apps and widgets. Half the fun in the phone and it's UI is to personalize it to the max.

Hey sorry, meant for the PC. They give you a cd that has the VZAccess Manager software and when I try to install it on my PC I get the error message. However on the verizon forums some people said not to even bother with that software. I was just concerned because they made it sound like it was essential to have before I plugged my Incredible into my computer in the documentation.

My fault. Yes I agree with the others... you don't need to install the software that came with your phone. It's most likely a sync program and an operators manual which can be grabbed off the net if you desire.
