Things that you wish you could do with your Incredible

I've always been curious about this feature. Can you see the message that were blacklisted? Or do they not come into the phone at all?

Just go in to Settings > Security & Privacy > put a check next to Show Blacklist and those people will show up on your list like normal.

If you want to manage the list (say, to remove the pesky ex-boyfriend because you got back together) then just click on the Manage Blacklist option and remove his number.

I'm not familiar with audible but the stock player seems to interrupt what's playing when you receive an incoming call.. and resumes at that point when the call is ended. It is not "all that" when it comes to finding a particular song to play or random play but seems to function as you are wanting.... or am I missing something?

I listen to podcasts of talk shows. They may be an hour or longer. If you power off or exit out of the player to use another app, it just starts the audio over when you go to it again. I didn't realize that it paused during a call though so thanks for that info. The bookmarking thing is my only issue now.

Being able to use it as a universal remote would be cool. And being able to make video calls via Skype

You can use it as a PC universal remote, with an app called "Universal Remote." It has Windows Media Player controls, Powerpoint controls, a trackpad and keyboard and a few others. It has to be able to connect to your phone via wifi though. There's another one called Gmote that allows you to browse for media files in their folders on the computer as well.

Can't say anything about Skype video calls, but there's an app called Knocking that allows you to send or receive a video call, but not both at the same time last I used it (back when it was in beta, also did not have sound but I could make a phone call and turn on speakerphone then start the video call).

I have the same issue. (Although, interestingly, I didn't under 2.1. The stock player would pick up where I left off) I downloaded Astro Player which has a bookmarking feature and it's pretty much my dedicated podcast app now. Works great.

I use Gmote, but it would be fun to be able to turn my tv on and off with it too. Gmote is great, being able to listen to any of my music anywhere in and around my house is so nice.

I find it easier to just charge the phone for an hour with it off before bed so I can use my phone as an alarm keep 3g off and I still have 98% battery worst case, I like to charge with it off, much faster, and you don't need to have it on the charger all night for no reason.

I love my incredible but it needs two things.

1.) a seaker that does not go bad in 2 - 4 months. I am on my 3rd Incredible as it keeps blowing the external speaker and now plays music and alerts very staticy. Might be the Alarm tone doing it as this last one I have not played any music on it.

2.) Needs a 5 inch screen - I do not need a tablet like the new Dell Streak. I just need my Incredible to have a 5 inch screen and I would be all set.

3.) well if I got #2 then I would want LTE 4G on Incredible too.

Well both #2 and #3 would have to be an Incredible II
