3 uk data used txt

I'm on the 3 UK network and have the 1gb data add on.k
Everything works fine except I get txt messages saying my data allowance has been used when according to the app I'm using to track my data usage it says I still have over 200mb left....
I checked with 3 and they confirmed that I'm unable to use more data than my allowance, so protecting me from extra costs.
But they were unable to say if they send the warning txt early... at 80% usage for example..

Does anyone know if this is indeed the case?

Yes mate, when I was getting my upgrade on 3 for the phone I was assured that I would be informed if I was approaching the 1 Gig limit.
I used to get a warning text with my old N95 from them.
BTW do you get the Stupid Roaming warning when you move about?
I live in East London and when I go to work in the Mornings to the West End some times when I exit Tottenham Court Road Station I get it, DOH! :)
