Root [ROM] ApeX 1.2 Series for Droid X - Functionality and Performance (12/7/10)

Girl beer. :rolleyes::p:D

ouch, got me!

Cool but will we have to upgrade to .340 first, or will ApeX 1.3 bring us up to .340?

I think that was tom's question, and mine too!

Thanks Fab!

It will bring you to .340. I guess that's what I meant when I said you can install from .320, it'll update you to .340.

Got a question for all you gurus out there :)

First off, Fab, you do some excellent work!!! My X is running smoother than it ever has and sounds like only going to be better.

My question is this, I am currently on .320 running Apex 1.2.1 and the hotfix. My theme is the NexTheme 1.2.1.

I want to try out the Gingerbread theme. Do I just download and install this from ROM manager? ANd if I don't like it, I can reinstall the NexTheme over it and will be the same as now?

No wiping, nandroids or anything like that?

Don't want to brick my phone.

Thanks, and Fab, keep em coming.

FYI - I'm not a guru. Just to clarify.

That is what I do sometimes. Just reinstall my previous theme via ROM Manager/clockworkmod Recovery.

If i revert to an older nandroid i usually backup my sms/mms, call log via TIBU or mybackup Pro.

I hope im not the only one getting dizzy with the rate of change. Yesterday I went from Apex 1.0 to 1.0.2 (2.3.15). All is fine and dandy. Now, what is the deal with the update and my 1.0.2 status vs. the future? Do I need to change anything back (sbf), can I take the update as I stand? Id like to keep up with Fab and the rest of yall but I just cant seem to do it when every time I login there is something new, lol! Sorry im a slacker but I hope someone will fill me in anyway.

i did the same thing. wasnt planning on updating to .320/.340 then fab said that he(and possible other devs) will no longer support 2.3.15 with their roms so i just went and did this DROID X 2.2.1 Leaks, Updates System to 2.3.20 - Droid Life: A Droid Community Blog then hit up apex 1.2.1 revolution theme and now im ready for whatever fab throws at me lol

Got a quick question that probably isn't Apex specific but since I'm run 1.2 I'll ask here anyways... there 2 wallpapers under the Wallpaper Gallery option. One is the colored glass balls or bubbles or whatever, and the other is a black "mat" with little circles.

I'm interested in saving the black mat to my SD card but sometimes it disappears and I love it. Anyone know where they are saved or what the wallpaper name is?

Thanks.

nvm: found it ;)
