Root help my evo well not lock on 4g

I rooted my evo with unrevoked, everything is working fine except 4g. When 4g
is on. in 4g settings, network notification check, 4g network is available keep
flashing, scanning..., connecting to sprint, obtaining ip address from sprint, it just keep looping will not connect.

Well the first thing you need to do is make sure you haven't lost your RSA keys. They are needed in order to connect to 4g. So follow the directions below and lets make sure.

1. Download terminal emulator from the market. Then open it.
2.Type "su" (without quotes) press enter.
3.# will now show up.
4.Type: "grep RSA /dev/mtd/mtd0" (again no quotes). Press enter.
Give it a few seconds and a bunch of stuff will appear. Now to assure you still have your RSA keys look for this at the end:
-------BEGIN RSA PRIVATE KEYS------
-------END RSA PRIVATE KEYS------

If the begin/end private keys shows up then you are in good shape. If they do not, then unfortunately your RSA keys are lost. Let me know

so i am good. I have lots of trouble connecting to 4G but i know i have connected recently in another city so i figured it was good. Just wanted to make sure.

However, wrapkgb, if the RSA keys were lost... What do you do?

Unfortunately you would be SOL, bricked 4g. Once the keys are gone they are gone and there is no way to get them back. That's why I use amon, just because it backs up your wimax.img which is where the keys are stored. The most common reason for lost rsa keys i is flashing a bad radio.

Any update to this. I have the same issue. I am rooted with Fresh 3.3.0.1 with PRI 1.40_003.

I had 4G pre root, now I don't.

I have verified that my RSA keys are intact and that my 4G MAC address is the one that is displayed behind my battery. I have also deleted the tree.xml file and let it create a new one. Any other options?

I would try reflashing the rom and see if that helps. If all the above are intact that's the only other thing I can think of.

Also have you tried updating your profile? That might fix your prob.
