The line at Best Buy to purchase Nexus S

I was 7th in line...The person in front of me bought the last two :(

It was ridiculous. My Best Buy apparently only had 10 in stock. Also, none of the employees have any idea when the next shipment will come in.

All the Best Buy stores have sold them out in my area. I have one on hold I'm going to go get right now.

I was at BB mobile at 9 when they opened me and about 25 others.. onky 15 of us got the phone though, the rest had to get it shipped

My BestBuy was still empty after I bought my 2, and they had 34 in stock. Anyone near Marysville, WA that didn't get one, they probably didn't sell out there.

If T-Mobile is the Hyundai of carriers, I would think that AT&T must be the Yugo of carriers. The new consumer reports T-Mobile and Verizon No 1.. And, of course, AT&T last..

It's well known Consumer Reports is a MARKETING AGENCY and it goes to the highest bidder. I worked for T-Mobile back when CZJ worked for us, and we paid a LOT of Money for Consumer Reports and JD Power marketing.

As a side note, the best buy by me had not sold one at noon (San Francisco)... they had reps from google in-store doing demos, but nobody buying. As others have said... two issues, it's a Galaxy S, nothing new, and it's T-Mobile, nothing spectacular.

Next phone please. Comon, make SOMETHING to beat my iPhone so i can get a new phone, hehe.

The odd thing is every android manufacturer has the same 4 buttons on the bottom of the screen, and the Nexus S decided to follow suit, but change the order of the buttons. Not much propriety there for an android platform

AHHHH I get the other posts Nothing is as good as the iphone.. LOL I had the original iphone before it was ever subsidized and the 3g. Never looked back from Android! I will say I love WebOS though.

Does Apple put a neuron implant in their products that takes over the buyer? Or is it that the OS is so simple that a baboon could use it? (which isn't bad for marketing truthfully)

Last I checked a disorganized OS isn't a selling feature.

Apple's whole mode of operation is simple, sleek, intuitive. Try a MAC, even those who have never used them can sit down and figure it out. Try figuring out how to change system fonts on a Windows Vista PC, lol.

Anyhow, clearly the Nexus S is not an iPhone, nor does it have the popularity of an iPhone. Not sure why you defend it.

Maybe Samsung\HTC should put a neuron implant in them, and then people will actually want to buy them. You can argue till you're blue in the face that Android is better, but clearly iOS wins in the minds of consumers, at least today. :)
