Tamme or Lewis | Owens or Jones?

Hey all,

I got burned by T.O. and Jacob Tamme in week 14, and it cost me the playoffs (and the fact that my opponent had McFadden). Now I'm going against a much easier team for the 5'th place spot.

Here are my options that I'm not sure about yet:

For the TE position:
Jacob Tamme vs. Jac
Marcedes Lewis @ Ind

For a flex position:
Terrell Owens (Cin, WR) vs. Cle
Felix Jones (Dal, RB) vs. Was

It's really hard to play anybody from Cincinnati right now, as that offense is a mess. T.O. is a big risk, big reward option. Felix Jones I think may be better for the week though, as Tashard Choice (I also have him, benched in week 14) did poorly last week and also asked for Vick's autograph, which the coach of Dallas frowned upon, so Jones will probably get more looks even though he's the No. 1 RB right now for Dallas.

As far as the TE position goes, I like Tamme's abilities, but Indy is so inconsistent at offense right now. One week he'll be targeted 10 times and go for a TD, the next he'll only get 1 or 2 catches. Lewis on the other hand is becoming one of Gerrard's top choices to pass to, and leads the team with 8 TD's. It's a hit or miss with him though, kind of like T.O.

Wow both coin flips there. Tamme has the potential for more points but Lewis certainly seem to be a more consistent target. Also speaking as a Skins fan they are spinning out of control now so Jones is probably a good choice. TO has had a number of good fantasy games but this week Im not seeing it. His comments about the owner and coaching stuff are unlikely to make him more of a target

Yeah, I would say the Owens experiment with the Bengals is over this year. He's not happy, Ocho isn't happy (see: tweeting about (potentially faking) an ankle injury to stay out of the last few games and be healthy for trade talks in the offseason). I have a feeling the coaches are going to start moving towards introducing the new guys in these last few games & get them accustomed to playing so that they get a running start next year. I wouldn't trust either of those two WR's in my lineup.

Since the Tamme thing is 50/50, and he was good two weeks ago and not so good this week, the stats seem to favor that he will do well this week. :) Stick with your top performers in the playoffs.

Thanks for the tips! I've already got Tamme in my lineup, however since Floyd was a no-go last night, I had to bump T.O. into my WR spot and sub Jones in for Floyd's flex spot. Now I have the choice of T.O. or Boldin for my dedicated WR spot. Boldin went off two weeks ago, then I started him last week and he did horribly.

Go with T.O. this week, or Boldin against New Orleans?

I would go with T.O., say what you want about the guy, but he has had a great year and he is playing for a contract next year. Also, look what he did against Cleveland earlier this year, he had 10 catches for almost 200yds.
