Ok, so even before the latest update I've been having this problem and I just can't take it anymore.
Every time I open my Market and switch to my Downloads, it shows no apps at all, and simply says "No downloads from Android Market". I have a TON of apps on my phone. In fact my phone is nearly out of room from so many apps. If I search for an app I already have downloaded, it says it's installed, and if it needs updating it says it can be updated, but that's only on the app page, and the downloads page is still empty.
The only way I've managed to get around this, is to force close the market, clear cache and data, turn off my phone, pull the battery, reboot, manually synch my account, and relaunch Market. And that only works sometimes. When it does work, since I had to clear the app data from Market, I have to re-accept the EULA and go through each and every freaking app to make sure the "auto update" box is unchecked. I have something like 50 apps installed, so that's a considerable pain in the ass when all I wanted to do was uninstall or update one app, or simply check for updates in general.
I've found some very old posts around the net with similar problems, and they only give equally unacceptable solutions. (like installing a random app or updating an app). This has gotten beyond ridiculous and I'm fed up. I'm almost starting to think it's a freaking ploy to get me to want to buy a new phone.
Please, does anyone know of a real solution to this?
