Help Galaxy can't turn on

I can go to recovery mode
but it say that
The archive: rectools.tar.gz was not found on /sdcard/

this is blatantly not stock galaxy so you must have done something to get into this predicament

Clearly he was either trying to flash it to Galaxo or to root it. And clearly he was not reading the how to attentively.

I suggest you go back to the manual you were using and start it all over.
I suspect you might have missed the part where you were supposed to copy the rectools.tar.gz to the sdcard (or "adb push" it.. depending on which manual you've been using, although practically it is still copying).
Or, you have not missed it, but you have not noticed that adb push failed, because you've forgotten to turn on USB debug mode.
Anyway, tell us the full story. There are no people with telepathic skills here.

It works ok now by doing with the following instruction:

This are the steps, how I made my Galaxy again running.
reading the posting Samsung FUS Downloader
downloading Odin multi downloader and fus downloader
launching fus-downloader and starting inside that application the download of the image from samsung server
extracting the zip file
Start the mobile phone in download mode
Launching Odin multipart and inside in this application selecting the ops file and the downloaded image (tar file) and finally starting with the recovery
After a successful flash rebooting the mobile phone
That's it.
Now the version on my phone is: I7500XXII5
As I needed to use the computer of my sister, because on mine I do not use windows, I wanted to ask, if the same downloaded image file with tar suffix, I also can use with fastboot?

i got the same problem for unkown reason and i solved in the same way ... i hope it won't happen anymore.

fastboot deals with the recovery image. You need a different file for that. See UPDATE 8/12 - V4.4! - ROOT/RECOVERY IMAGE update, wipe, backup and restore GALAXY - HDblog - Forum

I wouldn't be that harsh. After 3 months of using the Galaxy, and after writing a wiki page about it, I still ran into the perpetual reboot issue by wiping the phone from drakaz's recovery image v4.2 (which I installed for the GalaxHero v1.1 ROM).

after seeing the title of this thread, i opened it because i had a 'dead phone' issue yesterday. i had just reflashed with galaxo (didn't find IK4 was as good) and suddenly i had a black screen/dead phone. the battery had been fully charged. no idea what had happened. but i couldn't boot into anything--no recover, no download, no fastboot, no nothing. my computer didn't recognize it. then, when i connected the power cable (not the usb one, the A/C one, it magically started. I have no idea what happened but am (mostly) glad that I got my phone working again. Now that I am back up and running, the usb cable is working as usual. weird.

i did only flashed with odin since now and i never rooted my phone.

a bit of reading needs to be done
its relatively straight forward.
the most annoying parts are getting the adb drivers and fastboot drivers working with the phone
after that its easy when you follow the step by step guides
it will require you flashing a custom recovery image aswell as having your base version as II5
good thing though is you already know how to use odin, if it doesnt work out you can always flash with odin and it will return to standard
