Launcher Pro - Question

I have just started using Launcher pro replacing sony's crappy home. I am very short of internal memory so do not want too many apps on my phone. I found Launcher Pro to be really customisable until I came to creating Folders. I also have HTC Desire and use app organiser to create folders and keep my home screens clutter free. I would have thought Launcher Pro would allow me to do so without using app organiser. Also I have heard this app is not too stable with Launcher Pro. But I have not found a way to change the folder icon from the window like one to a custom one. Any help on how to do this will be really appreciated. If not, any confirmation that this can not be done in launcher pro will also help. :thinking:

No Folder Organizer is built into LP. I use Folder Organizer paid version and have never had a problem with it.

Is there any other launcher that will do this? I have just started using Launcher Pro so changing will not be a hassle. I want to save resources. Any Idiea re adw.launcher?

There are no launchers offering folders that you can put on the homescreen.

Some of them offer making categories in the app drawer.

IMO you should really think about getting Folder Organizer. It does not consume much memory or CPU but is very customizable and has a backup function.

Thanks for the suggestion. Looks like ADW Ex allows this and is incredibly light on resource consumption. It is a paid for app but only about

does anyone know how to disable the notification sound LP makes when you go into landscape/portrait mode? it's driving me nuts!!!! :mad:

It's not LauncherPro setting but your phone setting.

Happy new year

Been using LP and liking it.In HTC sence ui on desire there is a window for your favourite contacts.....how can I set it up in LP so that I can access it from shortcut dock/

The people screen you are talking about is a widget and you can only put on SenseUI screen, you cannot make a shortcut to it.

If you want to have something like that buy Launcher Pro Pus and you will get the same kind of widget as you had in Sense UI.

While I am on this subject.....When you long press Home key it brings up the last used apps,but the number is still at 8 last used...and I thought that with LP plus there should have been more if more were used?
