My sister recently bought a G2 (only after she saw me with one) online, and she had problems with the earphone jack. When she tried to plug in some earphones, the music would not come through the earphones, but still play through the speaker, just at a lower volume. It also only read the memory card as "read only". She send that phone back and got a new one, and while the new phone writes fine to the memory card, she still has the same problem with the earphone jack. I myself haven't had any problems with my G2, although I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that I bought mine in-store (Best Buy) while she got hers online?
