firmware update

Mine did too however after the update the firmware still says 2.1-update1
So maybe it was a repeat? I emailed sony asking. Doubt I will get a response though.

Thank you for contacting Sony Support.

I'm glad to provide the information on the firmware update for the Sony TV. If the TV is Internet connected, the update will automatically be downloaded and installed. Even before the update is published on the support site the TV will receive it sometime. However, the information on the new update or the download is not yet available on the support site yet.
