Root [ROM Stable] Bugless Beast 0.6.2 (Android 2.2.1- FRG83)

I just got the bugless beast 0.6.2 and i try to use navigation and it says "checking navigation ability" and then does that and nothing comes up should i wipe data and cache and see if that works or is their another issue

I did a wipe when I installed this ROM, with no problems with it since it came out.

It should be in the alarm itself. Click on it like you were going to change the time and it should be a choice there.

Love this ROM. My Droid is running smooth and stable. Really like the included feature on the lock screen for pausing/playing audio too. Except I can't get it to work. Seemed to work once with Pandora, but hasn't worked since. Anyone else have this issue?

You can do a complete re-install of .6.2.1 (if your running .6.1 or older) with a wipe or if you have ROM Manager and already have .6.2 running you can install a patch without a wipe (which makes things easier). The patch and the full ROM for those who don't use ROM Manager should also be available from Pete's website here.

Pete has just released version .6.2.2 however, he has posted saying there is a problem with the stock browser which he will fix tonight. You can apply without a wipe if you are running any .6 version or higher. It requires a re-install since it requires a new framework.

You can get it from ROM Manager or Pete's Site

Pete tweeted that he would fix the problem with the browser when he got home tonight.

It appears that Pete added a "hidden" item or something but that is it. Nothing that would be called a performance enhancement.

I dont think its the ROM, I got a cert. replacement because i thought it was the phone causing my battery to drain and that was when i was unrooted. I rooted it and I got about an extra half an hour streaming music.

Put the app you want onto your home screen. Then press/hold, and drag it onto the slot you want to add it to.

Not sure if it works on the stock launcher. I always change mine to ADW or LP as soon as I boot from a new install.

im so angry. i had 6.2.1 and it was the fastest thing to touch my phone. anytime i put anything on itd be fast for like two days and then shit. but BB was nasty. then i bricked my phone and now i cant use it. if i have to get a new phone ill be sad cuz i cant run bb on dx or d2

What happened to cause your phone to brick? There seems to be a gap between your problem with BB and bricking your phone.

When v .6.0 came out it stopped working. Pete moved a lot of the functions from the toolkit to the setting menus.

ROM Toolkit is the first choice on the Settings menu. It replaced the BB Toolkit app from v.5. If you are having problems with it, I suggest you fix permissions from the Rom Manager menu. Or, try pressing the Problems button in Titanium Backup.

flashed this about a week ago and its running smooth for the most part. the battery life is not as good as i had with UD 2.x, but its still giving me a full days use at a minimum.
