Desire HD...Android operating system, shame on developers, how to fix it up without throwing it away ( if you are a business user and in particular rely on EXCHANGE)

1/ a new DESIRE HD
2/ touchdown software
2/ the missing sync software
3/ docs to go software
4/ hand cent software
5/ power control plus software
Recipe .......
Set up a work scene ..use the black background to avoid power usage
Carefully set up your exchange account in order to minimise the push aspect .....there are many options without actually loosing the push benefit
If you need the two time zones as I do, remove the two clocks and replace with two individual clocks ....much easier to set up your required time zones
Ensure that auto sync is not ticked in settings ------accounts and sync
Ensure all of the above software is installed on your phone and in particular set up the power control plus software with the following items.....wifi, Bluetooth, 3G ( you might have to fool around with this, there are options) airplane mode and the battery check item
Also dig around the web for other things that will save your battery running out ..there are many on this phone
By doing all of the above, the end result will be....
Touchdown will allow you to read HTML emails and is actually a very good email management system....many good features and benefits....even better than iPhone
The missing sync will allow you to work with iTunes ...so you can still have your pics and music in a sensible way.
Docs to go will avoid the problems encountered with the android software that is so unreliable when it comes to PDFs and word docs .....
Power control plus will allow you to manage your battery life in a simple way, very handy software
Hand cent...just better than the packaged program....more like the iPhone SMS software
I continue to wonder how companies can release a product onto the market when it is not complete ...or do they do it on purpose so you have to buy extra software in order to further line their pockets ...I can't wait to see the next iPhone 5 or whatever they will call it ...it will surpass all of the crap out there, but having said that, the desire hd once fixed as above is a good phone, it's the developers that need kicking....
Being a skeptic when it comes to these blogs, let's see what happens with the knockers of what I have to say....I think they will be people either working for ANDROID or HTC... it's just just a pity that they cant take it on the chin and rather than make out that there are not issues with this product ....pull their finger out and do something about it
