If you get the Evo, be sure to have a like 50+ extra bucks to spend.

the Evo is hands down the great phone. Biggest Screen out there.

Its screen bigger than the entire iphone its self!.

And with a kickstand, you can kick back and watch a movie without having the hover over your phone straining your spine.

But be sure to buy a extended battery from seidio and external battery charger. Then you can go a few days enjoying full capabilities without charging.

or spend < $6 at amazon for 2 data cable... (actually $1.70 with free shipping each)
orginal at home for charging at night...
1 for office for charging while you listen to music or watch TV all day..
1 for you car.. for emergencies..

99% of the time.. i dont have any issues...

Seen bigger than phone? Ok, yeah, bigger screen uses more power than smaller of same technology. Just making sure that doesn't suggest the Evo is empty...

Ah - dan330 - I see that I DID write that he recommended me to the Blackberry. When he first got it he was into it. But now wants me to get an android so we can compare the two.

I agree - he will want to get an android when he sees mine. After I get it that is. His Blackberry did an upgrade overnight and not only did it erase all his settings but it turned off his alarm and her overslept!

ooooh - awesome. can't wait to hear what it is like! It seems like all the recommendations are saying both evo and epic are great but the evo is better - especially if I am on a Mac. but I just NEED a Qwerty.

Evo vs Epic

Someone said Epic's screen is better - its not, its more vibrant(blacks are blacker, that's about it) - Evo is sharper

Its not really which one is better, they are different.

And on the keyboards, I also never thought I could deal with an on screen keyboard, but the haptic feedback(vibration each time you touch a key) already has me trained up as fast as I was on any other keyboard(for a phone)

Not a BB hater, but it's definitely better suited for people who work with IT depts than individual consumers. The BB tablet looks good, but BB should have gotten corporate users on board en masse first.
