sorry if its been discussed before but I was wondering if theres any word on this. in google maps, its supposed to find my location not with gps but triangulating my signal with the cellphone towers, I have excellent reception where i live but for some reason it says im in the coast of africa, haha I live in california. Whats up with that? Thanks for your help

Several posts on this (Search is your friend), the Agps on the Moment does not work with 1.5, Sprint/Samsung has been notified, but you could always call them up additionally and let them know another customer is waiting for the OS update. If you leave it on, make sure you track your text usage, I've gotten international text charges because of this.

Thanks mr gadget for the tip, I didnt know what agps was and youll have to excuse me, im a first time smart phone user who doesnt know much about them or android for that matter.

No problem, I've found if I search the FAQ or the sticky posts at the top of the forums a lot of my questions are already answered. This is my first smartphone also, but I find forums like these usually have more answers than the manufactuers web pages or documentation, I still read the manual, but there are always some questions that aren't answered there.
