I use FeedR. A lot. It is my one and only go-to app for RSS reading. The app's dirt cheap (99 cents) and is one that's dead simple to use, yet still has amazing functionality. I've used it on my previous Android phone, and continue to use it on my Droid.
Anyway, it's been rock solid since the beginning. Today, however, I updated to the latest version and, though I still was receiving feed updates, I no longer received feed update icons in the notification bar. Like many of you, I feel one of Android's strengths is its notification system; consequently, when using FeedR, I like to know how many unread threads I have. I live by those feed update icons. The fact that these were no longer appearing was setting off my OCD.
This morning, I e-mailed the developer to let him know the issue I was having. I figured since it was Christmas Eve and the start of a long weekend for many folks, I wouldn't hear from him until next week. In addition, I was one lone voice with (in the grand scheme of things) a relatively minor issue.
I was obviously pleasantly surprised when, less than three hours later, I received an e-mail from the dev thanking me for reporting the issue and stating that he'd just updated the app on the Market. I downloaded the update and voil
