Friend of mine dropped his Blackberry Bold down a hole-in-the-floor/crouch type public toilet in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, China. Even though it was quite an expensive phone, he had absolutely no intention in putting his hand down the stinking toxic hole to try and retrieve it.

Ever since his Blackberry came to such a smelly end, he and I have always been extremely careful of our phones in such places.
