Hi,

I'm thinking of getting a cheap Android tablet, mainly for watching videos, surfing the internet, some Angry Birds and Raging Thunder 2 gaming.

I've got it down to a choice of 2 both running Froyo. One has a 10.2" screen, ARM 11 processor at 1Ghz while the other is an 8" screen with a Freescale imx515 Cortex A8 chip running at 800Mhz.

Can you guys offer any opinions as to which may be better, especially concerning the processors or should I wait for dual core chips, baring in mine I only want to spend around

Based on your budget, you can take a look at Freescale A8 tablet on this site,
Freescale A8 tablet
This tablet has been shared on fatwallet as a hot deal. The specs. just as same as you mentioned, same unbranded, same from Chinese manufacturer...
As regards the Zenithink Epad, I didn't see any official info. about 2.2 version on Zenithink site. I'm afraid it's not truly Android 2.2 OS.

Thanks for your help, I decided to go with the Freescale A8 tablet, managed to get one on ebay for a few pound more but no waiting time :D
