I spent yesterday seeking out the best tablets and smartphones at CES. Anyone considering the Thunderbolt will not be disappointed. It is a well made phone and the UI is very good.

Screen looked as good or better than my amoled incredible screen.
Weight in hand feels nice.
No hdmi out but it will stream to DLNA compatible device. HTC media box?

Speed on 4g is totally re-tar-ded!!! NFL live started playing a live football game after about 1/2 second buffer.

Thunderbolt will be the winner if it is all google. If they bing it it will come in a close second to the bionic.

You have every right to be excited about this phone.

The verizon rep mentioned Feb release fwiw.

I can't say it enough...4g is fricken fast.

I was playing with the Panasonic HD video conferencing over 4g at the Verizon booth. Cute blonde was on the other end. I believe she was in PA. Connection was solid, only a 1/2 second delay, and 1080i clear. It looked like I could reach out and touch her.

Amazing what you can do over the 4g network.

I don't know whether I should get the Bionic or the Thunderbolt. I love HTC Sense and don't really have any interest in the New MotoBlur but I want the dual-core processor so the phone will be fast. Also, I want the qHD display. What should I do?

I'm leaning more towards the Bionic because you're basically ahead of the game for a loooooong time with a dual core processor, qHD screen, and 4G.
