This rom has adfree flashed in the Rom. install adfree and update the host files and it will fix the problem.

THANK YOU! I was going crazy trying to figure out the issue. I couldn't even post/check on this site for an answer 'cause it'd take so long to load. I resorted to using an actual desktop PC to check the forums lmao All good now, let the non-productive workdays resume :D

I just noticed that my htc clock's weather app isn't updating at all. I have it set for hourly and it doesn't update unless I tell it to do so. Anyone know how to fix it? I had fancy widget to replace the clock but I like this ROMs clock best.
The only thing I can think of is for you to go into settings, account & sync and make sure it's syncing there. Make sure there is a green sync sign lit up beside htc weather.

I don't use the htc weather because it's always off and updates randomly without any cause.

Did anyone else's Market automatically revert back to the stock skin (green + white)? I actually really liked the black one. I'm not gonna miss it too much but would've preferred the black bg.

Don't think anyone responded, but mine did this as well today. It's not a big deal, but I did like the themed one better. Any ideas?

I've been trying to get back the stock font after installing Warm 2.2. I've placed several font zip files on my SD and tried to install them just as I did the rom and radios, but I keep getting errors that mention "Amend scripting (update-script) is no longer supported. Amend scripting was deprecated by Google in Android 1.5. It was necessary to remove it when upgrading to the ClockworkMod 3.0 Gingerbread based recovery. Please switch to Edify scripting (update-script and update-binary) to create working update zip packages. Installation aborted."

I've looked throughout the forum and can't find anyone who has reported the same problem. Perhaps I'm not performing the install correctly.

Could someone help out a novice.

Let me guess, you're using Clockwork 3.0.0.x? Install ROM manager, and flash either Clockwork 2.6.0.1 or Amon RA (any version). Let me know if you need more instructions on that.

Am I crazy in thinking I used to be able to access (pulldown) the notification bar while the phone was locked on my last install?

You can't pull down the notification window while the phone is locked (normal sense or vanilla lock screen). That doesn't make you crazy, though. Where you using any lock screen replacement? I haven't used them all. It's entirely possible that some of them allow you to do that.

That is it exactly. I had Widget Locker when I was RLS3. Thank you for the reply! :)

So...thought adware had solved my problem but even with having hosts files current, I'm still having issues. On 4g, this site will not load (full bars). On 3g it takes less than 3 seconds. Any opinions?

When was the last time you updated it? These host files update every few days or sometimes it could be weeks. I just updated mine today and have no issues with 3 if 4g. There will be times where sites are just slow.

I let it check everday . I know sites can be slow, but it will get about halfway on the status bar and just stay there . I've let it sit for 3 min and no progress (4g).

One thing I notice about the app is it says it will check for updates daily but it does not say it will install them. I personally update it manually because of that. The only other option is to clear your browser through manage apps. This will cause you to lose your bookmarks and settings in the browser. I usually backup my bookmarks before doing that. If that doesn't work then its just a slow down with 4g. Time of the day also has a lot to do with speeds due to bottlenecking at peak times.

I'm sure this is a noob question, but if anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it. While I rooted a while ago now, this is the first time I'm trying to put a new ROM on my phone.

Is it OK to try installing Myn's Warm TwoPointTwo if I use ClockworkMod instead of Amon_RA? For whatever reason, I can't get Amon_RA to flash correctly for me. After flashing Amon_RA, when I go to the recovery screen, it freezes for a few seconds and then quickly scrolls a few lines that say something like "image not found". When I select "Recovery", the white HTC screen flashes for a second, and then goes back to the bootloader menu. I saw that Myn recommends Amon_RA...but would it be OK if I use ClockworkMod instead? Also, is flashing through the bootloader the best way to install the ROM or does something like ROM Manager work just as well? Does ROM Manager update the radios and everything as is required for RLS 5?

Thanks.

Edit: I read a bit more and saw that it could be installed with ClockwordMod...just using WarmUpdater doesn't always work well with it. I installed it and it works great so far. The phone actually booted up faster than it ever has on the initial boot after the flash; which I was a little surprised about. I haven't been able to get Hulu to work though...when I open the app, it simple shows a white screen. Other than that, everything else seems like it's working well.
