I rooted my phone, but it says I cannot delete those files. Does it have anything to do with flashing CyanogenMod on my Droid? or do I have to go somewhere special on my phone to actually delete it? Thanks!!!!!

What are "those files"?
If you're using a file manager within Android, and you're trying to delete files from a system folder, make sure to mount the folder as R/W. It'll be mounted as R/O by default to prevent accidents.

... and PLEASE oh PLEASE make a backup BEFORE deleting things! If you delete something and the system gets screwy you can always restore to that last known good state.

+1 ^^^ this, but even further, please do not double/cross post your question. And furthermore, after my investigation we now need to know, which phone are you working on? Your first version of this question was posted in the T-Mobile G1 section:

And then this one seems to be just a continuation of those first three.
So I suggest that the next time you log in, go to the "User CP" near the top and then fill in your phone model and go from there. You may need to then figure out where you need to ask as I feel this thread may end up being closed.
