Anyone having problems with the blur contact widgets looking funny with go launcher? You can resize them but after a while they become scrabled and funny looking. I have to long press and resize again to get them correct or reboot.

Now I know I might be one of the few that like blur so if yall have a different contact widget thats good let me know.

Running Apex 1.3.1 but it also does this with the default rom so I know its Go launcher.

I have been running this launcher and love the folders inside the app drawer. But I too wish they would do two things with the grid spacing. 1. make them more than max of 5 x 5, and 2. change how the icon labels read out. Once you go to 5 x 5 instead of "Beautiful Widgets" you get "Beauti...ts". I may be wrong, but I don't recall that happening on ADW.
I know my wife would love it on her rooted Nook Color to have more than 5 x 5.

yeah...same here...i just put a shortcut to their contact on one of my pages...it did it in LP to me as well...

I had that problem with adw and LP. I don't use any blur Widgets now with go launcher but when I had apex it did it with any blur widget.,

New version is awesome! I swore by LPP for the longest time, then I tried Go Launcher and now I'm hooked. I am still looking forward to the LPP rewrite, but for the time being, Go Launcher is way better!

tried GL for a few weeks, IMHO very buggy. Emailed developer several times, no response. Scrolling through screens was so painful. Back to LP

If LPP is working for you that is great. But there was a recent release of GL that fixed a lot of the initial bugs. I'd recommend that you try it again. It's certainly not perfect, but it seems to be more stable than LPP for most people.

I LOVE GO Launcher !!!!!

I have the Huawei Ascend and with this phone you have to be selective about the apps you use. I was completely sold on LPP for about 6 weeks. I had tried GL and just didn't like it for some reason.

I even tolerated the force closes, which seemed to happen regularly.

I have no idea why I began to experience the probs I did with LPP, but finally they got so bad that it was crashing on me constantly. Nothing I did! Nothing helped. And I am totally convinced it was LPP and not ME cause the minute I uninstalled it and got GO Launcher everything was just fine. I put the same widgets on GL that I was using on LPP. Works smooth as can be.

Not one single force close even. I also switched from Handcent to GO SMS.

A win win on both counts!!!

I'm convinced something is wrong with LauncherPro.

Now....I feel sooooooooo much better!

Yeah, it's pretty stable. My problem is that I'm addicted to screen transitions, so I'm back on LPP. DAM-ME!

I ditched Go Launcher some weeks back for ADW EX. I think its better than GO or LPP imho.

Me too but ADW EX is just so good. To be honest, the only thing I miss our the widgets, but I have gotten over it.

Pretty sure you can create custom shortcuts in LPP. I actually use https://market.android.com/details?id=com.rhmsoft.shortcuts

Smart Shortcuts allows you to create your own folders, according to your own needs and assign custom icons to each.
