Due to the amount of apps coming out, it would be nice if the Thunder has at least 2gb of storage (and no ridiculous 135mb data/data cap like the Incredible). In regards to total app space, apps2sd only helps cover about 60% of the total for app space.
Incredible has 748mb, but you have to also balance the data/data folder too, since it can not have more than 135mb (get out of space error, just like if out of device storage space).
On the Inc, you could have 500mb storage free, but if the data/data folder has more than 135mb in it- OUT OF SPACE error.
I monitor with Root Explorer and uninstall any apps that like to dump a lot of data in that folder. Added: I hope the dumb a** that created this contraint is NOT working on Thunderbolt firmware.
Of course, whatever they allocate for device space takes away from the "8gb" internal storage.
