Unrelated, but somewhat related, Atrix 4G looks like its HSUPA has been gimped as well. Yes its before the so called HSPA+ hard launch, but like Blanco, we will see next month.
Edit: On topic, probably to the disdain of Andrea, lol, Pocketnow's Review (4.5/5): http://pocketnow.com/android/htc-inspire-4g-review

Something I found interesting was down in the comments, that I havent heard a single reviewer state yet:That review was actually much more accurate and in depth than before also I like how they are willing to give the benefit of the doubt to att. In conclusion a phone like the inspire receiving 4.5 out of.5 from a source such as pocketnow is a very good sign indeed

why do you keep insisting hspa+ is not active yet? (just like those other fools). could it be htc inspire hspa+ is defective? ok, backhaul is not implemented yet? there is still no reason why a regular hspa (3g) phones having better (higher) speedtest than a supposed hspa+(4g) phone!

Who do you think that jackass is lol he got banned from here and got two of his stupid anti inspire threads shut down with threat of banishment on.XDA
Gee, the banter sounds a bit familiar...I wonder....? Lol
He must have some serious hate for.either At&t or HTC. I mean the only other thing I could think of is extreme fanboyism of some other company / phone
Judging by some of the terms he's using, I'm pretty sure I've seen him on YouTube as well. This guy gets around. Typical jackass screaming from virtual rooftops without fear of repercussion. Such is modern life, now.

HTC Inspire 4G (AT&T) Review - A Review of the HTC Inspire 4G (AT&T)
COMMENTS ON BATTERY LIFE FROM THE REVIEW:
Sadly, the Inspire 4G packs a relatively low-capacity 1230 mAh battery, compared to 1500 mAh for the Evo 4G. So we weren't surprised when this smart phone lasted only 4 hours and 48 minutes in our battery test. (This test involves surfing the web over 3G/4G with the screen on 40-percent brightness.) So even if you assume the true runtime is 5:06, that's 22 minutes shorter than the Android category average, and well behind other 4.3-inch phones such as the Evo 4G (5:48) and Motorola Droid X (7:42).
5 hours of continuous web surfing?
I can kill my iphone doing that in 3 hours flat...and its a 3gs......
Sounds like a good battery to me (in the inspire)
HSUPA nets speeds far beyond 250Kbps. Real world, I see 1Mbps uploads consistently on AT&Ts network and my hacked Captivate.
HSUPA is up to 5.76mbps max, I see 1.2-1.4 on average, peak was 2.7. All the talk about HSPA+ not active is BS, if backhaul is added and download speeds are increased to 4g, it won't change the upload since hsupa is still disabled.
I don't understand how Andrea and the others dont understand this. If 4G is turned on, and you go to an area that doesn't have it and fall back onto 3G, then you are gonna see the speeds we keep seeing in reviews. It doesn't matter what the backhaul is, it matters what the phone is capable of. So far is seems that the inspire isn't capable of fast uploads. That may change, but it might not.

its kind of a scary thought, but as soon as they come through my store im speed testing them
It won't. Upload speeds are capped, and until AT&T pushes an updated rom it will continue to be.
And unless you are uploading youtubes...no one really cars about upload speeds...
AT ALL....
And i can do the uploading when im home via wi-fi if i have some HUGE file that needs to go that would tie up my phone for a long time (which is pretty much NEVER going to happen).
My car doesnt have ejection seats either...i am ok with that knowing i would probably never use them.
My cat actually cant do a cat scan...but thats ok to...i can get one done at the hospital..
Are you getting this??? Hello? Anyone there???
I am actually not a highlander either...but im cool with it. Immortality is over rated.
Anything else we need to complain about that we don't have but also don't need?

Holy crap, that's your argument? Cause you don't need it, no one else does? And the rest of your argument sounds like the ramblings of a 14 year old. Get off mommy's computer, pay for your phone out of your allowance piggy bank, and then cry to daddy when your allotment of minutes has been used up. Maybe you can mow the lawn and they'll give you some more.
