I'm 54. I'm so old I remember DOS, Fortran, Windows 3.1, OS/2, punchcards, 5 1/2 inch floppies, tape drives on a Commodore 64 . . . Hell I remember when a phone was a phone, not a text device!

BTW, am I the only one that didn't see Capt Kirk pull out his smart phone and text Scottty? Didn't Star Trek see the future?

it was an IBM programming language used mainly in number crunching and data applications... way... way back in the early `60s. I used it on an IBM 360, a computer the size of my kitchen.

Well I am 70yrs old and love the modern technology.The Desire is my Mobile and my wife has the Samsung wave 525 and she 75 years old, or is that young in her case.

I am far from the oldest at 42 but there aren't many folks I know my age who own a Rooted Desire, running Gingerbread (CM7 nightlies), I expect some here but not in the general populous. They like there phones slow and bog standard, stuff that for a lark.

I should have mentioned along with being in my 70s I'm rooted and running Leedroid 2.3b. No reason us oldsters have to run "bog standard".

I've just turned 40 and suddenly feeling young

with my rooted Desire running GV1.0

I remember DOS, Fortran, 3.1 etc... these young kids forget that the PC as we know it today was invented by people who are now pensioners
