Root Best 2.2 "Froyo" ROM for the Orange San Francisco?

So far, I know about FLB-Froyo G2 "r6" and Japanese Jellyfish "RLS8".

Which would you say is best?

Are there other choices?

Both of those are decent ROMS, but the Jellyfish is by the far the most popular 2.2 ROM though.

I tried Japanese Jellyfish and it was a good ROM, but my SF kept having weird heat spikes, even when it wasn't being used. It was fairly stable, but I have found this one [OLED+TFT] 18/Jan r11: MoDaCo Custom Froyo ROM download + Online Kitchen - Android @ MoDaCo bulletproof, everything works as it should, the wifi problem is fixed, it is very fast, very smooth and my quadrant score has doubled over Japanese Jellyfish, now 959 with no over clocking on the processor

I've been using r11 modaco for a few days now, after trying out fibblesan's G2 Froyo & Jap Jellyfish (they both good ROM's) I feel this one is the I tried so far.

I wouldnt take much notice of Quadrant scores, they mean nothing, its only how the phone performs and feels in real use that counts.

The JJ was a good ROM, the Modaco one is brilliant, I only have one issue with it and that is the GPS can be a bit of a pain, sometimes it locks, sometimes it doesn't

I originally started using Fibblesan's early FLB-Froyo G2 ROM's felt they were a bit unreliable at the time, then I switched to Jap Jelly & then tried the Modaco ROM's for a few weeks. Now I'm back on FLB-Froyo, he's current ROM r10b is very stable with good battery life & wi-fi comes back on in a matter of seconds when I wake the phone from sleep mode!!

not tried any others yet but the r10b seems damn good to me. no problems yet at all. well, not really a problem but i tried to add fibblesan's audio boost file and clockwork wouldn't do it. it threw confusing sentences at me in what was clearly a mocking tone

I haven't tried Fibblesan's audio boost file. so I can't comment on it but I just googled it & found a link, its a old file (a forum link from oct 2010) & so it may not work on his current ROM's!!

HI, I am using Modaco r12 version... and I have a problem when I try to make a call... as soon as I am calling to someone - when someone pick up the call... the screen goes black and I can not do anything... I have to wait until call is finished and someone disconnect himself... then screen comes back. Does anyone know how to solve this issue??

I use this one, which is the FLB-Froyo G2.

Excellent so far. Much better than the previous (2.1) ROM I used or the original Orange 2.1 it came with.

Easy to install, clean and stable, with no Orange crap on it.
