Like I said, ironically enough, no one has reported this thread and I've now spent nearly an hour cleaning it up. This has resulted in MANY warnings and infractions being issued.
A few points to mention. The forum does NOT have a "Grammar Gestapo" and in fact, the Site Rules say EXACTLY this when it says:

Kind of like the "Droid 2" was releasing late last year and folks believed it. Please show me one place where there is a public statement by VZW that the 24th is the date.

If this phone doesn't have skype video I won't buy it. It's bad enough that netflix is unlikely for it.

I actually did click report on a few, and nothing happened until now. Although I see that a few of mine were deleted, so apparently I was a problem as well. My bad.

What I meant by this, is that I got the box that says its for reporting spam, rude posts etc. And after I filled it out and hit submit, my cursor just spun . I'm not saying no one did anything about it, just that my computet wasnt playing nice.

I'm OK with the 28th release. And it makes sense (2.0 lulz) from a Verizon business perspective. Outside of us phone geeks, the average person that walks into a Verizon store probably has only a vague notion of Android & Skype and will probably want an iPhone anyway. To tell a prospective customer "Yeah, it's on your phone, but you can't use it until next week. And then you need to download it and configure it!" would be a major turn-off of for the average customer. It's probably better if the Verizon salesperson pitches the phone that's already Skype enabled and is able to configure it for the customer if requested.

not necessarily. We do not have the phones trust me! I would have posted a pic of me holding one lol. It just says information about the phone. Like specs and different things.

Skype is baked into the Sense UI. It is also a major selling point for this phone as seen on HTC.com and Verizons website. You're "claim" is talking about how there is a possibility that Skype Video Chat will not be available on launch, but will come with a OTA update.
100% sure it will have Skype at some-point.

It actually does not say it won't be on the phone, it says the FEATURE will not be available. So could it not be baked into the rom and just not activated? I did not see it say it would never be available tho.
