Help tiny display dots were greatly disappointing

So does anyone think this OP is someone else who just signed up another account??? Like maybe my friend baldilocks himself lol I mean he signed up in feb 2011 and has a total of one post and its about the same gripe my boy baldi has coincidence?? LOL

As a Super Moderator of another forum and a forum owner, I wouldn't be stupid enough to do anything like that. All someone would have to do is check IP addresses. I think you just have a guilty conscious.

What am I guilty about. I was only messing with you no need to get all twisted. There is no guilt here I got the better phone and enjoy it every day.

I will admit now, that today for the first time I saw the "Dots". They look exactly like people have described them. I had the phone in the sunlight and on an angle. Other than that I never notice these dots and they do not affect the phone or screen at all unless those conditions are met and even then, they do not bother me anywhere near enough to complain about them. I can't imagine it bothers people that much to take the phone back, but to each his/her own.

I saw them in pretty much every lighting condition - powered on or not. Personally unacceptable. I am sure for most it won't be.

no dog in this fight as i am on the sidelines, don't really know what phone to get/replace my current phone (or i may keep it).

I went to an AT&T store 2 times this weekend, I agree with Baldilocks, the dots can easily be seen, just hold the phone at an angle greater than 45 degrees from the perpendicular. The phone was also on.

whether or not that is an issue for the buyer, that's their personal call.

I don't want to go off topic but I'll just say these "may" help lessen the visibility of the dots. No refunds, no buy backs, consult your doctor before applying wallpapers and don't apply while driving. Results may vary. :D

Sorry for digging up this old post, but touch-sensor dots / grids are the first thing I noticed on the Inspire.

I don't know if any of you watched an NHL hockey game live, but for me it sort of felt like watching a live hockey game behind those safety nets that they have at the arenas. I immediately notice it, but I soon get used to it and doesn't bother me anymore.

Funny thing is, I couldn't see the grid on an Evo 4G at a local Best Buy today. Also, Captivate and iPhone 4 doesn't show these dots at all.
