Hey guys and gals,
I have been having the android SMS bug a lot lately, the one where it sends SMS messages to the wrong person, and it's driving me mad.
In the last three days, 4 messages have gone to the wrong person, even though I have been happily replying to one person only in an ongoing conversation, and had no other texts come in at the same time.
This morning, I replied twice to my girlfriend, no other messages in my inbox, and they both went to the wrong person, while happily showing in the correct message thread. Upon being notified of this, I checked the message info on my replies, and they went to a completely different number.
This happened on my last desire which was replaced, but it's now starting to annoy the crap out of me.
Anyway, long story short, I am seriously considering getting rid of Android over this issue, as it's an important one to me, but I have heard there is a fix for it. Only thing is, the fix so far seems to be in android 2.3 ?
So my question is, do you guys reckon HTC/Orange will be able to send a fix to this within the next few weeks? As thats probably going to be about my limit waiting, after that, I might just about of thrown the phone out the window lol!
Sorry for going on, just wondered if any long term Desire owners have encountered bugs in the past, and whether they were fixed quickly. Just wanted opinions from those in the know, and couldn't find another thread to write in.
Cheers.
Biffy.
