sweet...have been watching for it. virus has had a z port up for a while but there were alot of things inop.

is 4g the only thing missing?

That and the ability to switch to the front facing camera.

Third party apps like Vignette and Tango still enable FFC.

I flashed this and tried it out but I couldn't get my 3G data working. I'm guessing it's a radio issue. Shame, because the ROM looked awesome. Anyone else having mobile network trouble? Anyone have the solution? Back to RLS5 until then

they only radio not working is 4G..

to get FFcamera.. get an app in the market .. it works.

been running the beta for over 2 weeks.. this thing is stable and fast.
after the initial boot up...turn off phone (not battery pull) and see how fast that sucker boots up.

Indeed. Only issue so far is screen is unresponsive when plugged in. Other than that this Rom is golden.

No 3g issues here. 1.7 Mbps dl

Scratch that....Rom is totally golden. Apparently if there is no battery in my wall adapter it sends more voltage to the usb

Just be careful if you flash the Data Governor Removal. I flashed it and then decided to update some settings in the EPST menu. Long story short I got a bunch of FCs and could not connect to 3g. I restored my nandroid but still can't connect to data. Trying to flash the rom again to see if it overwrites the Data Governor tweak.

So while troubleshooting I discovered that we now have Internet Pass-Through (Reverse Tethering). It allows you to connect to your computer and use its internet connection. Comes in handy if you dont have wifi or your 3g is busted. You'll need to install HTC Synch 3:

HTC Desire HD - Application - HTC Sync for all HTC Android Phones

If you have XP 32 bit you'll need to install this hotfix:

Remote NDIS (RNDIS) devices may not work correctly after you perform a surprise removal on a Windows XP-based computer and then attach the RNDIS device to the computer again

Once everything is installed just connect your EVO via USB to your computer. Then select Internet Pass-Through in the notification drop down on your EVO. Once it connects you should be good to go.

what exactly did you do? I flashed the gov removal and then did the 3g fixes in the EPST menu, the streaming fix, and modified the build prop for better pandora quality and had no issues.

all of my other settings (from your tweaks thread) remained and did not need changing

Ektore I am sorry I don't use the mail app and have already removed it. I use gmail.

so far no real issues. My extended battery doesn't seem to want to charge past 85% but I am working on troubleshooting that. Using the included kernel battery life is pretty much awesome...I do feel the need to overclock though.

flashed darktremor a2sd and all worked fine. 360mb free on the phone.

video camera stops recording if an alarm goes off. no idea if that is normal..alarm shouldn't have been there anyway haha so that should not be an issues.

This Rom looks to be a definite keeper for sure.

[MOD] Data Service Governer Killer - Updated with How To: - xda-developers

that explains what is being changed. basically sprint has a throttle built in to the rom that governs how fast your connection is...this removes it

Ok, I'm trying to compare features, but can some one break it down for me, what is the main difference between this and warm 2.2 rls 5?
I know this doesn't have 4g...
