Accessories Can you use any USB keyboard/mouse with the multimedia dock?

I have a Microsoft wireless keyboard/mouse combo. Can I plug it into the USB port on the back of the dock or do I have to use the bluetooth one AT&T is selling?

Careful... You're asking several different questions...

Can you use any bluetooth keyboard?
The answer appears to be yes. The spec sheet at the developer page claims support for the Bluetooth HID profile which means any standard bluetooth keyboard should work. The real question is will the bluetooth accessories work when not in "webtop" mode.

Can I use any USB keyboard?
Again the answer appears to be yes. In the demo videos there are a number of "plain" keyboards shown working over USB.

The question I really want to know is can we hack the USB interface so we don't have to pay $130 for a stupid dock just to use a $10 keyboard. I may be wrong but I hope I will have a cheap adapter giving USB out through a regular hub. We'll see.

The question I want to know is can we find a workaround for the HDMI so we can use the webtop interface without a dock.

this is the command that you type at a terminal session to enable webtop

And how do you get a terminal session? I have the dock so I have webtop up and running. But, what I'm more interested in doing is getting access to a terminal so I can use gcc to try to compile OTHER applications to run in webtop mode--more than just firefox.

How do you get terminal/bash access?

I dunno about webtop, but terminal emulator in the market. Is there any way you can bootstrap gcc to run IN the webtop mode? That might be kinda slick.
