Xoom or Atrix

Just found this forum today and this seems like the place to ask...

I need a new phone NOW, but might be willing to remain without for a few more weeks until Bell releases the Atrix.

Or... I can go back to Telus and pick up a desire for cheap.

Here is my predicament. Do I..

Buy the desire and then get a wifi only Xoom when it comes out and use the desire as a wifi hotspot?

or wait for the Atrix and get no Xoom at all?

The Atrix seems pretty bad a$$, but having a tablet like the Xoom seems like a pretty fun time killing machine.

Please, any thoughts or opinions would be greatly welcomed.

Personally, I would prefer the Atrix. So far, I have not found enough reason to own a tablet. I find that I can surf, social network and stuff pretty well on my phone which offers me the portability. The keyboard dock of the Atrix allows me to do any type of heavy data entry, comfortably as well as providing more screen realestate.

Oh, yeah, forgot to mention. Not a chance I will pay for the docking station. I already have a netbook and the reviews for the dock have not been that stellar.

Do you all think it would be a better buy to get a wifi Xoom and an HTC desire, or to just buy an Atrix (with no laptop dock)?

Which do you think will be more useful?
