Hello there,

I would like to know if it's possible to set up a wallpaper just for a single pane? I used to use a lot of wallpaper on my old phones but when I uploaded them onto my HTC EVO 4g, they are too big to show on a single pane. If I set the resolution to 960x800, it'll even be worse. I would like to set the wallpaper on a single pane only, is that possible at all?

Any comments/suggestions are much appreciated.

Thank you.

There's an app called wallswitch that'll allow you to have one picture set/locked while scrolling through different screens:
WallSwitch - Android app on AppBrain

I switched to a Live Wallpaper app called Multipicture Live Wallpaper because it allowed for different pictures to be seen on each home page.

drexappeal,

Thank you. I tried Multipicture Live Wallpaper and it worked perfectly. And it also solves the pictures size problem as well.

I really appreciate your help.

No problem. With SO many threads out there, it's hard to catch apps that are useful like this unless you're actually involved in that thread actively.

I found it through another member on here posting in the Wallpaper thread. Just be sure you adjust the settings so that the pictures don't change. And pre-warning, when you do use it, it adds a slight lag (not significant, but noticable) when switching from landscape to portrait.

I wanna contribute but I can't find a good walk-through on how to make wallpapers. Everything I make looks distorted when resizing. If you know a thread with already explains link to me please.

Here's an easy "how to"
- Download a wallpaper that is larger than 960X800.
- Using whichever photo editor you have on your cpu, re-size to see what the dimensions would be when reducing to 960. From there, you can see if you'll need to make crops or if the dimensions are close enough to what you'll need.

Now, if you're trying to use a smaller sized wallpaper and re-size up, that's the only way i can see you having problems with distorted pictures.
